FAQs

Q: Who do you work with?
A: I work with midlife women, typically ages 40 to 60, who are navigating the perimenopause or menopause transition and are ready to build sustainable habits around stress, lifestyle, nutrition, movement and sleep. My approach blends my pharmacist background with integrative women’s health coaching.

Q: What kinds of support do you offer?
A: I provide several pathways of support:

  • 1:1 coaching: Personalized sessions that focus solely on your unique health history, symptoms and goals.

  • Group coaching: A supportive community setting where you work through midlife and menopause transition topics alongside other women, guided by me. These are short term offerings with a common goal and are available many times through the year.

  • Courses: Self-paced or guided courses based on the five-pillar framework (stress, lifestyle, nutrition, movement and sleep).

  • Free information: I also offer downloadable guides, blog posts and my podcast so you can begin your journey without immediate commitment.

Q: How do coaching sessions work?
A: Coaching sessions are primarily held online via Google Meet (or by phone if preferred). For local women in Olympia or surrounding areas, in-person sessions may be arranged. Intake and planning sessions are followed by habit-building check-ins, between-session support and tracking tools.

Q: What topics do we cover?
A: We address the five pillars of menopausal health: stress, lifestyle, nutrition, movement and sleep. We also explore your symptoms, your midlife transitions (career, relationships, identity), and your health goals so you craft a plan built around you. We can discuss hormone therapy options, non-hormone prescriptive care, and other alternatives to prepare you for your next doctor’s appointment.

Q: Do you diagnose medical issues or prescribe medications?
A: No. While I am a licensed pharmacist in the states of Washington and Missouri and can offer pharmacist consultations in those states, in my role as coach, educator and health-wellness consultant I do not diagnose medical conditions, act as your prescribing provider or deliver treatment. The services I provide are focused on lifestyle, nutrition, movement, stress, sleep and midlife health transitions. All medical diagnosis, prescriptions and treatment decisions should be managed by your licensed healthcare provider.

Q: What outcomes can I expect?
A: Outcomes vary depending on your starting point, goals and level of engagement. Many women gain a clearer understanding of their symptoms, improved sleep, better stress resilience, increased movement confidence, weight loss, optimized nutrition habits and enhanced self-advocacy in midlife health.

Q: How do I get started?
A: Begin with a free discovery call. We’ll explore your current situation, your goals and whether we’re a good fit. If so, we’ll select the ideal support pathway (1:1 coaching, group coaching or course), schedule your first session and begin your personalized plan.

Q: What is the investment?
A: I offer a flexible coaching service unlike the traditional packaged plans. We have an initial consultation with an onboarding fee. Once you have completed the initial visit, you are my client for life. Check- in sessions are booked as we determine they are needed. Short-term group programs and courses will be offered at select times and pricing will be public at time of a launch. Current pricing details for coaching are available on the “Work With Me” page.

Q: What if I have lab testing or serious medical concerns?
A: If lab testing or a medical evaluation may be beneficial, I can suggest collaborating with your healthcare provider or a partner lab. Note: coaching is complementary to, not a replacement for, medical care by a licensed provider. As my pharmacist license allows, I may offer lab testing for WA and MO residents within the scope of practice. For serious conditions, I will alway refer you to a licensed care provider. I will work in collaboration with your Nurse Practitioner or Doctor to provide a cohesive care team.

Q: How is confidentiality handled?
A: Sessions are held in a private, secure setting (Google Meet or phone) and I use secure tools to protect your information. Our coaching relationship respects confidentiality. My software is HIPAA compliant.

Q: What if I’m not sure this is right for me?
A: It’s absolutely fine to be uncertain. That’s why the discovery call is offered. Let us talk, you ask your questions, I describe how I work, and you decide whether this is the right next step for you.
