WORK WITH ME
PRIVATE NUTRITION COACHING with VICTORIA BYRD, RPh
One-to-one nutrition coaching for the metabolic changes of perimenopause and menopause, with a pharmacist who is also a certified nutrition coach.
You’re navigating midlife nutrition with a full plate - and you’re ready for guidance that understands the metabolic changes.
If you feel like you are doing everything you used to do and seeing none of the results you used to get, you are not imagining it, and it is not a matter of trying harder. During perimenopause and menopause, as estrogen shifts and declines, your body changes how it responds to food, how it stores and uses energy, and how it builds and holds onto muscle. The plan that once worked was built for a different hormonal season.
That is where coaching can help. As a pharmacist and certified nutrition coach (NASM), I work with you to understand what has actually changed and to build an eating pattern that fits your body now, whether your focus is releasing weight that feels stuck, steadying your energy, supporting muscle and bone, or supporting healthier blood sugar and insulin sensitivity over time. We do this in a way that respects your hormones, your medications, and the life you are actually living.
Why work with a pharmacist who is also a nutrition coach
Most nutrition advice for midlife women is written for a body that is not changing. It treats food as a set of rules and assumes that what works for one woman works for all. Your body in perimenopause and menopause is not a fixed system, and it is not the same body you had a decade ago.
My training sits where two fields meet. As a licensed pharmacist, I understand how your medications, hormone therapy, supplements, and physiology interact. As a Certified Nutrition Coach and Behavior Change Specialist through NASM, I understand how to translate that into the way you eat, day to day, in changes that are realistic and that hold.
This matters because nutrition in midlife does not happen in isolation. The way you eat affects, and is affected by, your blood sugar, your medications, your sleep, and your hormones. Working with someone who can see the whole picture means the plan you follow is coordinated with the rest of your care, not at odds with it.
What coaching looks like
Coaching is a monthly, one-to-one relationship, not a single plan handed to you and a wave goodbye. Here is how it tends to unfold.
1. We start with a conversation. On a free discovery call, we talk about where you are, what you have tried, and what you are hoping for, so we can both feel confident this is the right fit before you commit to anything.
2. We build your starting point. I create a nutrition profile tailored to you, including a personalized macronutrient target based on your body, your goals, and your health history. If macro tracking isn’t what you are interested in doing, that is OK! There are many different methods to improving nutrition habits.
3. You track in a way that teaches you. You use Cronometer, with Gold access included, which syncs with our coaching app so we can see your patterns and adjust together rather than guess. If scaling and measuring feels overwhelming, photo journaling of your plate can be a great start.
4. We meet each month. On a monthly call, we review what is working, troubleshoot what is not, and refine your plan as your body and your life change.
5. You have support between calls. You can message me when questions come up, so you are never left alone with a plan you are unsure about.

Is this a good fit for you?
This coaching tends to be a good fit if you:
• feel like the way you used to eat no longer gives you the same results
• want a plan built for your body now, not a generic template
• are navigating perimenopause or menopause and want nutrition that accounts for it
• value understanding the why behind the changes, not just being told what to do
• want someone who can coordinate nutrition with your medications and hormone therapy
If you are looking for a single meal plan to follow on your own, a one-time consult may suit you better than ongoing coaching, and that is completely okay.

I received a BS in Pharmacy from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2004. I have been a licensed pharmacist in multiple states since that time and have kept a current license in MO and WA which require continuing education credits each year. I received a Health Coach certificate from IIN. I later received a certification in Women’s Integrative Health Coaching from the Integrative Women’s Health Institute which is accredited by the NBHWC. I recertify that every 3 years with continuing education credits. The last time I renewed I received my certificate in Perimenopause and Menopause education as well as a Longevity course. I received a Nutrition Coach and Behavior Change Specialist Certification from NASM. I am a current member of the Menopause Society and the International Menopause Society where I receive the majority of my Continuing Education courses for my pharmacy licenses.

I am not a provider that can treat medical conditions. I offer support, accountability and resources to clients in the holistic and prescriptive aspect of women’s midlife health(perimenopause and menopause). I collaborate with physicians to offer suggestions in prescriptive care, but I do not diagnose and treat women.

While hormone testing is not required by The Menopause Society guidelines to offer treatment for menopause and perimenopause symptoms, there may be a time when hormone testing is necessary. In collaboration with your care provider, I can suggest hormone testing and in some cases, we can order tests through Fullscript.
